Thank you for helping to make our last Auction a tremendous
success. The Nysmith School will hold its fifth Annual Silent
Auction on March 24, 2001. This year's theme is "Safari Adventures".
We have just moved into our new school and are very excited about it.
We need a track for our PE department and support for our
scientific, computer and library programs. All the proceeds from
the Auction will go directly to support these educational
and educational and athletic facilities.
The Nysmith School was founded in 1984 and services our community
by providing children with an accelerated educational opportunity.
We are especially strong in math and technology. Our school also
school also expects our students to exhibit courteous behavior, kindness
to others, and to act as responsible members of our community. Our
school is highly respected and currently has an enrollment of over
600 students. We are the largest independent elementary school in
the Washington Metropolitan area.
Your continued support is key to the success of the Nysmith community.
A gift certificate or other appropriate item from you will add immeasurably
to the excitement of the evening. Your agreement to donate benefits not only our children,
but your business as well.
As an Auction donor, you will enjoy the benefit of recognition in our Silent Auction
program, a professional creative display at the Auction, and a customized sign, featuring your
company's name, to be displayed along with your donation. Our families represent the
cutting edge in technology companies, high-level diplomatic officials and leading
international companies. We will also ask all atendees and Nysmith parents and students to
patronize your business.
Please complete and return the enclosed Auction contract with any papers that may be necessary to redeem
your donation (i.e. gift certificate) by February 20, 2001. Your continuing generosity is
very much appreciated and goes a long way in helping us make a significant impact for our
school. If you have any question, please feel free to call us at 703-281-9064 for
Nancy or 703-709-9045 for Debby.
Again, thank you for your support and generosity.
